For the two electronics technicians for industrial engineering, the three industrial mechanics, two industrial sales representatives, one technical product designer and two cutting machine operators, many joint appointments, group work and training courses were on the program in the first week. Above all, it was about getting to know and dealing with the company, the products and processes. In addition to an initial orientation in the training center, there were guided tours through the factory halls and the administration building for everyone.

The new PILLER employees are now in their specialist departments and are taking their first steps in professional life. “We always train with the aim of later offering our trainees a job in our company. Our need for qualified employees is still great. Training them yourself and introducing them to their tasks is an important and goal oriented approach for us,” says the training manager Mandy Steinmetz. In total, PILLER is currently making 41 motivated people fit for the future in eight different apprenticeships.
