As one of the leading suppliers of blower and compressor systems for the process industry, PILLER continuously develops new solutions for individual customer requirements. In recognition of this, PILLER has now been awarded the "Innovative by Research" seal of the Stifterverband for German Science.
Innovative by Research - Seal of the Stifterverband
The award is based on ongoing and recently completed development projects. For years, PILLER has been working in close cooperation with universities and non-university research institutions. Together, our team enables us to extend the limits of feasibility on a daily basis. Many new developments have been rolled out to the market as convincing and successful innovations. Most recently, PILLER is working on research and development of the VapoFan product line, our modular solution for low mass flows in mechanical vapor recompression processes. The intention is to expand this in terms of performance range and applications.
"Innovative, dedicated to progress, yet deeply rooted with a long tradition – this is how we approach the challenges of the process industry together with our customers. The intensive cooperation between our R&D experts and qualified manufacturing specialists is characterized by special synergies to the great benefit of users – especially in favor of improved energy efficiency. We are very pleased that our innovative strength and research expertise have now been confirmed by the Stifterverband," says Christoph Böhnisch, Managing Director of Piller Blowers & Compressors GmbH.
The Stifterverband for German Science
With the "Innovative by Research" seal, the Stifterverband honors research-based companies for the special responsibility they assume for the state and society. The association awards the "Innovative by Research" seal to all research-active companies that make an innovative and outstanding contribution to research and development in the economy in Germany.
The Stifterverband is one of the largest private sponsors of science in Germany. In addition to its commitment to young academics, excellent universities and cutting-edge research, it is also responsible for examining and evaluating the German research and innovation system. To this end, an annual R&D survey is conducted by the Stifterverband's science statistics unit on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
